building project

Five orphans where living in this house with their grandmother. Last month in June this situation was changed with the help of Kyle Showalters and his friends. Enough money was raised in order to build them a new home.

The house was built in two weeks...

...building work was done by young men from our church of whom we would like to make into a permanent building team whose sole purpose is to build homes for the needy people under our care.

This is the second home that we have been able to build this year, and we firmly believe it wont be the last.

The Jaime family.

Patrick and Grace -
It certainly looks as though things are going well. You've had a lot of visitors who've helped you do good things. I hope you've had the opportunity to thank all of the women and men who have helped in your effort.
Please don't forget to let us know how we can help from here. Dr. Erin is developing a traveling team of physicians (some of whom speak Portuguese) to begin trips to Maputo over the next couple of years.
Our best to you both. Tell the "kids" we say "hello."
